My full name is Md Jahidul Islam. Most people call me Milon. I am a full-stack software engineer, which means I build the whole thing — the part your customers see, the part that stores the data, and everything in between.

I started as a freelancer in 2017 and ended up delivering over 350 projects for clients around the world. That taught me something a salaried job never would: what small businesses actually need is rarely the most impressive technology. It is the thing that works, that they can afford, and that does not fall apart when they are not looking.

In 2019 I started building my own product, Mess Manager, to solve a genuinely dull problem — shared households tracking meals and bills on paper. I built all of it myself. It has now passed 100,000 downloads and I still run it today.

That product changed how I work for clients. Running something live for six years teaches you what breaks at 2am, what users actually complain about, and how much the boring decisions matter. Most developers hand a project over and never see the consequences. I have lived with mine.

Since then I have worked with teams across Europe, the UK, Australia and Asia — including two years leading the customer app for a live payments product, where a bug means somebody's money.

Today I focus on one thing: helping established businesses turn messy, manual workflows into simple software they actually use. Not startups chasing an MVP — businesses that already have customers and revenue, and a process that has quietly outgrown the spreadsheet holding it together.
